Join us as we break ground on a new solar array for the Saginaw Nexteer campus and hear from Nexteer leaders about this next step in our Company’s commitment to sustainability. We will also hear from Brian Hartmann, President of NorthStar Clean Energy on the project. A celebration reception will follow the groundbreaking.

About the Project

Nexteer and NorthStar Clean Energy are partnering to bring a sustainable energy solution to the Saginaw Nexteer site.

A 25-acre solar field will be installed on the property located on the west side of the complex north of the pond along I-75.

Nexteer’s Saginaw Solar Field represents the next step in our Company’s commitment to sustainability. We are excited to partner with NorthStar Clean Energy on this important sustainability initiative that provides a win-win of both reducing our carbon footprint and improving our site’s operational costs.

Installation is targeted to begin this summer with a goal to have the solar field operational by early 2024.

PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

Will lower Nexteer’s greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 7,000+ metric tons annually.

Will increase Nexteer Saginaw’s green energy usage.

Will provide ongoing cost-saving opportunities.
